You can head out on a guided tour with our qualified trainers, or even head out early in the morning on your own Nordic Walking circuit in Balderschwang. Torghele’s favourite Nordic Walking tours

#1 Socher Route

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy
ROUTE:APPROX. 6 km
DURATION: approx. 1 ½ hours

The tour is suitable for beginners; we proceed over gravel, asphalt and field paths.

Starting point: From Torghele’s proceed to Balderschwang. At Haus Bergzauber proceed down to Bolgenach and take a left before the bridge, pass the valley station for the chair lift and follow the path to Bolgenach and the Dorfmitte/Kreuzweg/Köpfle-Hütte junction, immediately after the bridge. Bear left to follow the main road; cross the main road and continue  to Socher-Hütte. At Socher-Hütte continue left, turning into the altitude path and take the altitude path out of the valley to the hotel.

#2 Salamöser Nordic Walking Route

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium
ROUTE:APPROX. Approx. 6.7 km
DURATION: approx. 1 ½ hours

A wonderful circuit that is also very well-suited to beginners. The path comprises tracks and gravel paths, there may be 1 or 2 gates, which we will tackle with ease.

Starting point: We start from Torghele's heading into the valley and bear right at Haus Bergzauber, proceeding then along the Bolgenach, at the bridge we take a left at the valley station for the chair lift, heading up to Höfle Alpe. We follow the track above Höfle-Alpe up to Bodenseehütte. We proceed through the forest on the path to the junction for Köpfle-Hütte, Gelbhansekopf. Here we take a sharp left and follow the forest path up to Köpfle-Hütte. We take a left approx. 50 m after the cattle gates, at the 'Dorfmitte, Kreuzweg' junction we bear left and follow the path in serpentines, steep down into the valley, Bolgenach. We cross the Bolgenach over the bridge and proceed to the left continuing to the centre of the village and the starting point at Bolgenach car park.

Please note: the steep serpentine path down to Bolgenach is very slippery when it is wet!

#3 Lappach Circuit

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy
ROUTE:APPROX. 4.5 km
DURATION: ½ hour

Over gravel, asphalt and tracks. 

Best times of year: May, June, July, August, September, October

Starting point: From Torghele’s towards Balderschwang. Head down from Haus Bergzauber to Bolgenach and take a left before the bridge, pass the valley station for the chair lift up  to Höfle-Alpe and along the forest and pastureland path to Lappach Alpe. After Lappach-Alpe take a left and head down to Bolgenach, then up to Torghele’s.

#4 Panorama Route

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Easy
ROUTE: 5 km
DURATION: 1 hour

Wonderful route, direct from the hotel across the altitude path the centre of the village, take a left at Sport Luggi and head down to the big car park. From  there take a left along the Bolgenach to the big bridge. Take a left there again and head up to Haus Bergzauber, then a right back to the hotel.
