DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Medium
ROUTE:APPROX. Approx. 6.7 km
DURATION: approx. 1 ½ hours
A wonderful circuit that is also very well-suited to beginners. The path comprises tracks and gravel paths, there may be 1 or 2 gates, which we will tackle with ease.
Best times of year: May, June, July, August, September, October
Starting point: We start from Torghele's heading into the valley and bear right at Haus Bergzauber, proceeding then along the Bolgenach, at the bridge we take a left at the valley station for the chair lift, heading up to Höfle Alpe. We follow the track above Höfle-Alpe up to Bodenseehütte. We proceed through the forest on the path to the junction for Köpfle-Hütte, Gelbhansekopf. Here we take a sharp left and follow the forest path up to Köpfle-Hütte. We take a left approx. 50 m after the cattle gates, at the 'Dorfmitte, Kreuzweg' junction we bear left and follow the path in serpentines, steep down into the valley, Bolgenach. We cross the Bolgenach over the bridge and proceed to the left continuing to the centre of the village and the starting point at Bolgenach car park.
Please note: the steep serpentine path down to Bolgenach is very slippery when it is wet!
