Your hotel in the Allgäu

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Torghele in Balderschwang. The complex is situated right on the edge of the forest, with hiking trails starting right on the doorstep – right past the hotel’s own deer, Oscar. The ‘Schwitzstube’ sauna was my personal highlight: a fantastic view of grazing cows, plus a wonderful pool – and delicious cocktails were served right by the poolside. Service, food and cleanliness – everything exactly as it should be. What’s more, the hotel is thoroughly family- and dog-friendly; you feel welcome straight away. If you’re looking for nature, wellness and good food – ideally with your family and dog – this is the perfect place for you.

We stayed at the Torgheles for two nights with our two children. We were looking for a lovely, family-friendly hotel that wasn’t a typical family hotel, and we felt very welcome as a family. Without exception, all the staff were extremely courteous and helpful. The spa area is beautifully designed. The playroom is brilliant and our kids loved it. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and the afternoon snack offers a lovely selection. We’ll be back!

We’ve been coming here as a family every year for several years now, and we always feel completely at home – whether it’s during Carnival for skiing or in autumn for hiking. The rooms are beautiful, the spa facilities are brilliant and are the perfect place to unwind. We’d also like to give a special mention to the fantastic food – a real treat every time! But what makes this hotel truly special is the warm and friendly service. You can really tell how much hospitality goes into everything here. A special thank you also goes to Yanni at the bar, who always creates a great atmosphere with his friendly manner. For us, this place is something very special every single year.

Dieses Hotel ist kulinarisch ein Gedicht, mit bemerkenswerter Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, die Architektur ist ein Gedicht und die neuen Zimmer eine Wucht. Der Spa Bereich ist klasse zum Erholen und Ausspannen und die Aussicht auf die hügelige Landschaft einfach nur schön. Es gibt sehr aufmerksames Personal und für Kinder jede Menge Abwechslung und Unterhaltung - der fahrende, singende Serviceroboter z.B. ist immer für staunende Kinderaugen gut.
